What does it involve?
Each alternate year Mac.Rob visits Adelaide High School for sporting, music and debating competitions. Students are billeted with Adelaide High School students.
When does it occur?
Early August

LOTE Exchanges
What do they involve?
German:
Exchange visits between students from Mac.Robertson Girls' High School and the students from Albert Schweitzer Gymnasium in Gundelfingen, Germany, are conducted on a biennial basis. In 2010 the Mac.Rob students will visit Germany.
French:
Exchanges with our sister schools in Bordeaux and Paris, occur on an annual basis, involving 5-6 students from Years 10 & 11. Students involved are hosted with families.
Japan:
Exchanges occur on an annual basis, involving 7students from Years 10 & 11. Students involved are hosted with families.
When do they occur?
Students involved in the French and Japan Exchange host students in Australia mid-year and then return to the families in the exchange countries towards the end of the year.
Most trips are organised a year in advance for Years 10-12 students.

Individual Student Exchanges
What do they involve?
Individual students either gaining an exchange to another country or hosting an overseas student through a service club e.g. Rotary International or a fee paying student exchange organisation.
When do they occur?
Throughout the year
