Mac.Rob Foundation
___

The Mac.Rob Foundation is a philanthropic organisation dedicated to supporting the education and advancement of young women in Victoria. The Foundation’s scholarships and bursaries empower the students of Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School, both past and present, to achieve their educational goals.

Championing the voices of strong women, the Foundation also provides access to important role models through networking and mentorship opportunities for the next generation of female leaders.

Founded by former Mac.Rob Principal, Dr. Toni Meath, alongside alumna Deborah Knight, the Foundation was launched on 5 March, 2016 at the National Gallery of Victoria. Since that time, the Foundation has supported the energies and efforts of young women in achieving their educational and academic dreams.

In addition to our grants program, we also host and co-host a yearly calendar of events and activities, including an International Women’s Day breakfast, to showcase female leadership across diverse sectors. In 2022, the Foundation immortalised the career achievements of the remarkable women thinkers, leaders and doers of the MGHS Portrait Gallery in a digital format so that their legacy can live on beyond the School halls. The Future Women of the Portrait Gallery honours women of the past, the present and importantly the future.

If you are interested in making a donation or would like to explore scholarships or bursaries available, please visit the Mac.Rob Foundation website.

The establishment of the Mac.Rob Foundation was designed to recognise the efforts of young women and girls through supporting their access to education.”
