Six Year Partnering with Megantic.
We are proud to celebrate the successful conclusion of our 6th year partnering with Megantic for their industry-leading mentorship program. Over the past several weeks, a group of our ambitious students stepped out of the classroom and into the fast-paced world of digital commerce and search engine intelligence.
The program provided a "behind-the-scenes" look at how the modern internet actually functions. This wasn't just about Googling; students delved into the complex mechanics of Paid Search (PPC) and SEO, learning how businesses use data to stay visible in a crowded digital marketplace.
Key learning pillars included:
E-Commerce Commercials: Understanding the "P&L" (Profit and Loss). Students learned how businesses analyze their most profitable products to decide where to spend their marketing dollars for the best results/
Blended Search Strategy: Exploring how organic results and paid ads work together to create a dominant brand presence.
A Day in the Life: Our mentees gained a realistic view of the digital industry, learning the "rules" of SEO—and more importantly, when and how to break them to innovate.
As technology evolves, so does our mentorship. This year featured a heavy focus on AI in Search. Students explored how Large Language Models (LLMs) are fundamentally changing how we find information. To wrap up the program, Evan Pavlidis delivered a captivating presentation on the history of search engines, how AI models are trained, and the ethical risks and rewards of this new frontier.
