Community Partnerships Update | Term 3, 2025.
Dux Exam & Study Skills Workshop.
Our Exam & Study Skills Workshop was a massive hit! The Theatre was absolutely packed with students keen to get tips and tricks from none other than our 2024 DUX, Harshitha Meenakshisundaram.
Harshitha shared her go-to study strategies, how she stays organised, and some honest advice about managing stress during VCE, IB, and everyday assessments. Students also had the chance to ask questions - from how to stay motivated, to how to handle tough subjects - and Harshitha answered each one with clarity and encouragement.
A huge thank you to Harshitha for being so generous with her time, and to the Palladian Reps and the Palladians Association for putting this event together. It was truly a “by students, for students” moment.

Business & Commerce Career Circle.
As part of Mac.Rob’s ongoing Career Circle initiative, presented in partnership with the Palladians Association, students were treated to a dynamic and insightful webinar focused on the field of commerce and business. The session brought together a panel of accomplished industry professionals - all Mac.Rob graduates - who shared their diverse journeys through the world of finance, marketing, economics, and entrepreneurship.
Vivienne Kerslake (Class of 2021): Bachelor of Commerce student, Kearney intern & venture capital analyst.
Sopone Souphanh (Class of 2013): Strategy Manager at The Walt Disney Company.
Emille Mendoza (Class of 2009): Founder of Emme Management & Boracay Skin.
Joan Sison (Class of 1995): Business Intelligence Manager at Australian Unity.
Designed to demystify the broad and evolving commerce landscape, the webinar offered students practical insights into university pathways, workplace expectations, and how to navigate careers in both corporate and startup settings. Speakers highlighted the importance of adaptability, lifelong learning, and the power of networking - particularly for young women aiming to make their mark.
One of the most inspiring aspects of the session was hearing how each speaker carved their unique path post-Mac.Rob. Whether it was climbing the corporate ladder, launching a successful business, or working across borders in global markets, their stories resonated deeply with students curious about what lies beyond the classroom.
The event also included a Q&A segment, where the student Palladian Representatives asked thoughtful questions about balancing passion with practicality, overcoming career setbacks, and tips for making the most of university and early career experiences.
The Career Circles webinar was more than just careers talk - it was a powerful reminder of the strength of the Mac.Rob network and the many exciting futures that await our students.
A special thanks to the Palladians Association for their continued commitment to creating meaningful opportunities that connect current students with our remarkable alumni.
KPMG Mentorship.
Successful Completion of the KPMG Mentorship Program.
Over the last five weeks of Term 2, twenty-two of our Year 12 students took part in the KPMG Mentorship Program – and what an experience it was! Held at KPMG’s Melbourne office, the program gave students a unique insight into the world of business and consulting.
Each week, students worked closely with KPMG mentors on a real-world project, developing skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. The program wrapped up with students presenting their projects to the mentors – and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive! The mentors were incredibly impressed with the ideas, confidence, and professionalism shown by our students.
It was a valuable and eye-opening experience for everyone involved, and a great chance for our Year 12s to explore future pathways beyond the classroom.
A big thank you to KPMG for hosting and supporting this amazing opportunity – and well done to all the students who took part!
