Mac.Rob International Ball: A Celebration of Diversity and Community.
On May 23rd, the Mac.Rob International Ball was held at the St. Kilda Town Hall with great success. Bringing together 350 members of the Mac.Rob community - students, staff, and families - for a memorable night of cultural immersion, the event was a testament to Mac.Rob’s rich diversity and vibrant community spirit.
The evening featured a fantastic DJ, sponsored by an alumna, who kept everyone dancing all night long. Guests enjoyed capturing memories at the photobooth, generously sponsored by the Palladians Association. The event also offered exciting door prizes, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The night was further enriched by captivating student performances, including violin and flute pieces, solo singing acts, and dynamic group cultural dances that showcased the amazing talents within our community.
The “Best Dressed” showcased the community’s creativity and style, while the delicious multicultural food reflected the diversity of our school.
Importantly, the International Ball provided a wonderful opportunity for new families to Mac.Rob to connect with others and make new friends, helping them feel part of the wider school community. From start to finish, the night was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate our differences, and have fun!
Thank you to everyone who attended the International Ball and made it such a success in 2025, and a special “thank you” to those who were unable to attend due to venue capacity limits. Demand for tickets was extremely high, with the event selling out in less than three days and leaving many families on the waiting list unable to attend. Planning is already underway for 2026, so if you were unable to join us in 2025, we hope we’ll be able to see you next year when this fantastic community event returns. Watch this space!
